Town of Milton, Hanover Bag Millions in Casino Cash

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation recently proved its generosity with the latest gaming revenue allocations it distributed to the casino host communities. The Town of Milton is one of the areas benefitting from regular gaming revenue allocations, the most recent one amounting to some CA$1,311,368. This amount goes straight to the city coffers and it would be used for various local projects later.

Casino venues have many ways in which they support their host communities and one of those is via the regular gaming revenue allocations they make. A portion of the gaming revenue generated by a casino complex or a gaming hall goes straight to the city coffers in order to support various local projects and elevate the protection of regular casino patrons.

OLG Grants Allocation

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation is the gaming giant taking care of the regular support making its way to the host communities at the end of every fiscal quarter of the year. March 31 saw the end of Q4, as well as the entire fiscal 2019/2020 which called for the regular financial support making its way to the communities.

The Town of Milton is one of the areas benefitting from regular allocations coming as a result of the daily operation of Elements Casino Mohawk. The popular gaming hotspot welcomes players on a daily basis intriguing them with the diverse gaming offerings there are. The last quarter of the fiscal year managed to amass an allocation amounting to CA$1,311,368 for the Town of Milton. As a result of this support, the annual amount also increased.

The 2019/2020 fiscal year managed to witness an overall allocation of CA$7,849,847, an amount that has been affected by the current situation. Elements Casino Mohawk closed for business mid-March and this lockdown has impacted the gaming revenue allocation for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year. It amounts to about 15 days of no casino gaming in Milton.

Gaming Development in Hanover

The casino venue is still under lockdown, as Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation follows closely the provincial recommendations. Ever since the beginning of casino operation in the region, Milton city coffers have received about CA$122 million thanks to the Municipality Contribution Agreement. It could be recalled that December 2019 witnessed the official introduction of The Buffet on the premises of the Milton casino venue.

Locals enjoy the family-friendly dining area with 300 seats and more than 200 delicious meals to try. Ontario Lottery and Gaming also recently allocated a regular payment to the Town of Hanover. The city coffers bagged some CA$255,763 for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year. Playtime Casino Hanover is the gaming hotspot that has been supporting the areas with its regular payments.

This latest payment adds up to the overall annual allocation for the fiscal 2019/2020 year. It amounts to some CA$1,386,228 and local projects are about to benefit from the support. The renovated, expanded, and rebranded gaming hotspot relaunched operation in March 2019 following extensive work on site. Ever since then, locals have been enjoying its premium gaming and family-friendly offerings.
