Glitnor Group’s LuckyCasino Goes Online in Ontario

LuckyCasino has been granted access to Ontario’s open and regulated iGaming market for private operators. The flagship betting brand, owned and operated by Glitnor Group, has made its debut in the province, making it accessible to Ontarian online gamblers. Its entry will also enable further strategic opportunities for the company in the future.

The premium digital casino operator has already established itself as a leading brand in the regulated Swedish market and is now committed to expanding into Ontario’s legal sector. The iGaming model was introduced to keep players off of offshore betting sites while keeping some of the province’s revenue and investing it into its economy.

Entering Another Regulated Sector

LuckyCasino’s official entry into the Heartland Province is a massive milestone for the operator, as it would be able to capitalize on the increased appeal among local players to play on provincially licensed sites. Via its permit in the jurisdiction, the digital gaming platform will be able to offer its unique portfolio of content and offers to the local player base.

Its entry also corresponds with Glitnor Group’s over-arching strategy to launch its B2C and B2B brands in as many regulated markets as possible. Now, the debut of the casino brand in Ontario is a massive milestone for its operations, which will boost its global footprint and commercial prospects with new partners in the near- and long-term future.

David Schwieler, Head of Brands and Business for the company commented that the operator is always looking for new ways to expand its operations by gaining access to new regulated markets across the globe. He believes that the launch in Ontario will certainly create many exciting strategic opportunities for the brand when going forward.

The official added that not only the online casino will be able to take advantage of its tremendous success in Sweden, but its entry in Ontario will also allow it to deploy its leading B2B brand, Swintt, in the market. Mr. Schwieler predicts that the expansion will open new possibilities for the company and is quite optimistic that their content will resonate well with local players.

Ontario Sees More iGaming Launches

Most recently, Canada’s most populous province saw another exciting iGaming integration within its digital borders. Leading developer of internet casino content, Stakelogic, has partnered with Rootz which is a prominent name in the province. As per the agreement, the supplier will integrate its slot games and video slots with the operator for local players to play and enjoy.

In addition to that, in December 2023, Hacksaw Gaming inked a lucrative collaboration with Caesars Digital in the market. Via the deal, the provider delivered its iGaming portfolio to Caesars Palace Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino. The first integration included the debut of classics such as Wanted Dead or a Wild, RIP City, Hand of Anubis and Mines.
