Hyatt Regency JFK Airport Hotel Opens Doors

Last week New York State saw the grand opening of Hyatt Regency JFK Airport Hotel at Resorts World New York Casino. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was on August 6, 2021, and the Genting Americas 400-room property is now open to guests. Visitors can experience the newest place in the state to dine, gamble, shop, be entertained, and try out many other activities.

The new hospitality facility is eight-story high, which provides over 400 residential guestrooms and premium suites with an exceptional design and in-room technology. It also includes the fan-favorite Sugar Factory Restaurant, a fitness center, conference and meeting areas, along with additional gaming areas. The lobby of the venue is ideal for art exhibits, events, and all kinds of entertainment performances.

New Hospitality Venue

According to the President of Genting Americas East, Bob DeSalvio the opening of Hyatt Regency JFK Airport is the perfect way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Resorts World New York Casino. He continued by saying that the company is delighted to cooperate with Hyatt and it is proud to provide guests from all over the world with top-class casino experience in the heart of New York.

Brian Reynolds, Senior Vice President of Resorts World New York City invited all of the casino’s guests to experience the intuitive hospitality as they can relax at the hotel after their gambling sessions. Mr. Reynolds said that thanks to the Resorts World team visitors can now enjoy an innovative and seamless experience at the new venue that will revitalize them for the new day.

The new hotel offers 400 guest rooms, with 275 king rooms, 91 double rooms, and 34 suites. The variety of accommodation is suitable for both business and leisure guests of the hotel and it also provides a perfectly convenient location next to the JFK Airport. Guests who like to gamble can also enjoy 6,500 slot and electronic table games.

Additionally, the US$400 million property features plenty of non-gaming amenities thus providing all guests with any kind of variety. The Sugar Factory is a world-renowned café and confectionary shop, where visitors can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Its menu includes decadent milkshakes and old-fashioned sundaes. Guests can enjoy the food on the spot or if they are in a hurry resort to Grab n’ Go.

Resorts World Hudson Valley

However, Genting Americas expansion in New York does not limit to the new US$400 million hotel. In February, the company announced its plans to launch a brand-new casino property in Sullivan County’s Newburgh Mal. The name of the new property will be Resorts World Hudson Valley and its introduction aims towards revitalizing the declining mall and provide plenty of new jobs for the local population.

Then later in the end of this May, the Newburgh’s Town Board has given its unanimous support for the casino project in the shopping center. Officials also approved of the State Environmental Quality Review, which would allow for video lottery terminals to be placed in the shopping center, and the zoning order that would allow Resorts World Catskill to realize its gaming plans for the area.
