Caesars Windsor Greenlights Exclusive Operation

Caesars Windsor is ready for its official reopening following months of no in-person casino gaming on its premises, as well as in the region. October 8 saw its official return on the gambling scene with a special limited portfolio available exclusively for guests that have received an invitation. This aligns with the provincial regulations on casino gaming at the moment.

About two weeks ago, the casino hotspot made it clear it is ready to welcome back individuals interested in gambling on its premises and this will happen at the beginning of October. The unprecedented situation has taken its toll on Ontario’s gambling field following months of closed brick-and-mortar casinos in the region. Now it is time for some live gaming action.

October 8

The premium casino resort launched operation of its gaming hotspot this Thursday, greenlighting a new phase of operation. It comes with special measures and conditions that should be eyes at all times. It could be recalled that the summer months saw Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation announce that casino venues across the province could relaunch daily operation with a patrons’ limit of 50 individuals present at all times.

This limit ended up concerned casino operators working within the province, as the small number of patrons was projected to harm them. Not enough gaming revenue will be insufficient for sustaining the daily operation of the venue and for paying wages to the staff members. Caesars Windsor had another plan for action, relying on the strong bonds it has established with some of its patrons throughout the years.

During Stage 3 of the business reopening plan, the gaming hotspot is going to work with selected individuals only. Selected individuals part of the Caesars Rewards program have previously provided their emails. They have already received a special invitation to join the gaming action at Caesars Windsor over the upcoming weeks. They should make online reservations ahead of time.

Caesars Rewards Members Only

The casino venue is allowed to welcome up to 50 patrons at all times, which is why a reliable reservations platform has been established. It will allow players to pick the date and time when they would like to gamble and make sure that they will have a jolly time on the premises of the casino. The platform will ensure that the overall number of patrons does not surpass 50.

For the time being, the restaurants, as well as the hotel and The Colosseum will have to remain closed. President Kevin Laforet stated that the health of all individuals on the premises is of utmost importance right now. Slot machines will remain the only gambling device available, as they do not require multiple people interacting with each other while gaming.

In addition to that, casino management has unplugged some of the devices, aiming to promote physical distancing between the players engaging in slots gambling. Unifor Local 444 chairperson Dana Dunphy said about 200 staff members have been called back to work. The venue will operate between 10 a.m. and 2 a.m. every day.
