The fourth commercial casino in New York State is now ready to greenlight sports betting operation and showcase its advanced sportsbook powered by one of the leading gaming providers on a global scale.
The newest casino resort in New York State announced the official launch of its sports wagering offerings that would take place this Thursday. Local betting enthusiasts will have the chance to place their best at the Sportsbook 360 lounge that comes with a futuristic atmosphere and premium feel to it. Its name is inspired by the layout, including over 35, 75-inch flat-screen TVs, arranged in a 360-degree arc around a central bar.
The sports betting lounge is also part of the casino floor inviting patrons to make their way there and explore its offerings on a regular basis. With more than 100 seats available, quite the crowd could make their way there, and patrons have access to cashier windows and self-serve betting kiosk depending on their preferences. The special event this week would commence at 6:30 p.m.
IGT Announces Partnership
All enthusiasts would be welcomed in the new lounge, as 7 p.m. is when the real celebration is taking place. Santana Moss, former New York Jets Wide Receiver, and Larry Johnson and John Starks, former New York Knicks players are about to welcome all sports wagering fans. They will have the chance to ask them questions and also participate in sports trivia at Doubletop Bar and Grill. The first bets would also be placed then.
International Game Technology also confirmed that the collaboration with Resorts World Catskills would see the official launch of Sportsbook 360 this week. This new offering is projected to attract a crowd to the casino resort that has been struggling to meet its projections when it comes to gaming revenue. Genting Malaysia’s earlier offer to purchase the remaining interest of the casino complex received the resounding Yes of Empire Resorts in August. This would make the newest casino resort in Upstate New York part of the Genting rich portfolio.
