theScore Bet Lost Race with Fox Sports but Won Fresh New Jersey Wagering Fans

Toronto-based Score Media and Gaming Inc. announced the official launch of its intuitive sports wagering mobile app that would diversify gaming offerings for New Jersey players. The new mobile app would make it possible for local players to place their bets whenever they feel like it from the comfort of their own home while making theScore a pioneer media company in the sports wagering world of the United States.

Ever since last May, the states have been working towards improving their gaming offerings with the implementation of sports wagering. Every state had the opportunity to do so in a unique manner and meet the expectations of local players. New Jersey has been among the states offering both in-person and online wagering, allowing players to explore all offerings at their disposal. The Canadian sports media theScore wanted to explore the field itself.

Wagering and Media Merged

The betting app launching operation is called theScore Bet, featuring the renowned brand loved by many sports fans across North America. It is already available for both iOS and Android welcoming everyone aboard while making sports wagering even easier for New Jersey fans. The sports media knows a lot about the field, which could be conveyed best with a comprehensive wagering app.

Listening to sports wagering fans and sportspeople has made it possible for theScore Bet to meet the expectations of its users with a friendly interface. People enjoying its offerings would have the chance to place both in-game wagers and make their choice ahead of the live-action, eyeing one ultimate goal – winning more as a result of that.

The application also offers real-time information about the score that could be essential when it comes to successful wagers. More information is also going to be available on the app while also promoting the main theScore app that has been a daily companion for many sports enthusiasts across North America. The application launches only days after Fox Sports Media Group and another Toronto-based giant – The Stars Group, launched their very own Fox Bet in New Jersey.

Fox Bet also Launched Recently

In a sense, that application was a rebranding of already existing BetStars that has experienced popularity across the state. The two media companies are rivals both in the journalism world and in the sports wagering now, which is not that surprising given the climate within the gaming field. Such a slight shift highlights the preference changes which could be met by the media companies ready to reserve a spot in the budding field.

New Jersey features as many as 18 online gaming operators with more players entering soon. Along with the betting app launch, theScore announced Fengate Asset Management invested some CA$40 million in Score Media and Gaming. The purchase consists of convertible unsecured subordinated debenture and such an investment is crucial at this point of theScore’s development strategy.

Mobile betting would thrive as a result both in Canada, where the mobile application is a preferred one and in New Jersey for the time being. In the foreseeable future, the sports betting app would launch operation in Indiana, Iowa, and Mississippi.
