Seneca Gaming Supports FeedMore WNY via Public Donation Drive

Most recently, Seneca Gaming Corporation announced its latest efforts to support neighbours in need in Western New York. The gaming leader will be hosting a month-long donation drive to help and support FeedMore WNY. Throughout October, its three casinos in the region will collect nonperishable items which will be distributed to local individuals and families.

Created by the Seneca Nation of Indians in 2002, the corporation runs three Class III gaming properties in Western New York. The three establishments in question are Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino in Salamanca, and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in Buffalo. Its gaming operations revitalized the region and continue to support its members.

Embracing Community Spirit

President and CEO Kevin Nephew said that as a local corporation, Seneca Gaming stands with its neighbours. He noted that Western NY embraces the spirit of community like no other and that is something the company values. Mr. Nephew is asking patrons and friends to come together with the company and FeedMore and help neighbours in need ahead of the holiday season.

In return for every monetary donation of at least US$10 or every donation of at least five nonperishable food items, individuals will get US$10 in free slot play for the company’s casinos. Donations can be made from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Locations are the bus lobby of Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, the Social Club at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino, and the Social Club at Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino.

FeedMore WNY explained that the most in-need items include cereal, peanut butter, and other but nut butter, canned tuna and chicken, canned soups, stews, and chilli, canned fruits and vegetables, canned or dried beans, boxed macaroni & cheese, pasta and rice, pasta sauce, and baby food, formula, and diapers.

This latest initiative is the most recent community partnership between the company and the organization. Last year, the corporation hosted a public collection of monetary and food donations to support the neighbourhoods affected by a mass shooting. Seneca shared that its teams delivered more than 700 pounds of food and personal care items distributed by FeedMore WNY.

Gaming Locations Stack Number of Awards

Last month, Seneca Gaming Corporation’s three gambling locations claimed a number of awards at this year’s “Best of Gaming Awards” by Casino Player magazine. The three sites claimed a total of 39 honours. Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino collected the largest portion of the awards, as the resort was number one in eight categories. It also received seven Second Place honours.

Meanwhile, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino stacked up a total of 15 awards. Including First Place awards for Best Reel Slots, Best Roulette and Best Players Club. Meanwhile, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in downtown Buffalo received First Place honours for Casino Where You Feel the Luckiest, Best Sportsbook Promotions, and Friendliest Sportsbook.
