Scientific Games Inks Content Deal with DWG

Once again Scientific Games establishes its position as a top provider of content to the gaming industry. The company has most recently announced that it has struck a three-year supply partnership with the Arizona-based Design Works Gaming. Now the content of the latter will be distributed by the provider’s Open Gaming platform to Canadian and the United States markets.

Over the years, Scientific Games has proved to be one of the most reliable and successful providers of gaming content. Its portfolio includes products in games, systems, and services for casinos, lottery, social gaming, and sports wagering. Its Open Gaming platform is a symbol of security along with a place for entertainment with something for everyone’s likings.

Exciting Online Debut

With the three-year supply deal, the Arizona-based company will be able to distribute its original engaging online casino games in the United States and Canada. The integration will be completed via the supplier’s Open Gaming platform, and the first batch of content will be launched in New Jersey, and later in Michigan and Pennsylvania. With even more jurisdictions that allow online gaming in the future.

Design Works Gaming has been prominent for its success in the land-based casino games in the United State, now the company is targeting the iGaming space. Its latest products include Vegas-themed game titles, with a mix of Vegas steppers, video slots, and scratch cards. This deal will also improve the offerings at the supplier’s aggregation platform providing an even greater variety of premium content.

Troy Zurawski, CEO of Design Works Gaming, stated that the company has come a long way since its creation 16 years ago and it has all led to its establishment in the online gaming market. He said that the company has found the perfect partner to launch its games online across the North American jurisdictions and that they are looking forward to the first launch.

Steve Mayes, Partnerships Director, Digital at Scientific Games, commented that the latest deal only further strengthens the provider’s footprint on the continent. He praised their partner DWG and stated that the company is a perfect ally. Mr. Mayes is now looking forward to the collaboration between the two corporations in the next three years or even more.

Single-Event Betting Launch

The supplier and aggregator Scientific Games has been quite busy over the last few months. Previously, the company played a major factor in the launch of single-sports wagering across several jurisdictions. After the enactment of Bill C-218, BCLC, Loto-Quebec, and Atlantic Lottery Corporation were able to launch the new product via the provider’s OpenSports™ platform. This is a major milestone for the supplier.

Acquisition Completed

Back in August, the aggregator announced its official acquisition of content developing studio Lightning Box. The developer is based in Australia and now its greatest hits ChickenFox, Lightning Horseman, Lightning Leopard, ChickenFox5x Skillstar, Astrocat, and Silver Lion will be available through the supplier’s aggregation platform. Thus, growing an even greater variety of products for its partners.
