NYRA Reveals Ticket Details for the 2021 Summer Meet

The New York Racing Association has most recently announced its on-sale dates for Saratoga Race Course’s upcoming 2021 summer meet. This includes on-sale dates for all hospitality areas at the horse racing venue and ticket sales for individual days. The 40-day summer meet at the oval is on schedule to begin on July 15 all the way through September 6.

New York State is expecting a huge summer for the horse races in the region, as Saratoga Race Course will be officially allowed to use its full spectator capacity with the start of the meet. This will be the first time since the beginning of the unprecedented situation that the track is back at its full volume of operations.

Dates Revealed

Starting from June 21, fans will be able to purchase grandstand season passes and NYRA Bets Gift Cards at over 150 Capital Region Stewart’s Shops. All of the locations can be found on stewartsshops.com. Individual day tickets for reserve seats in the Clubhouse, Grandstand, and The Stretch will be available for purchase on Ticketmaster.com from June 23, at 10 a.m. ET.

Single-day reservations for tables in the Fourstardave Sports Bar, Miller Lite Picnic Paddock, and The Rail at the 1863 Club will become available for purchasing Wednesday, June 23 at 10 a.m. again on Ticketmaster.com. While individual day dining booking for the Turf Terrace, The Porch, and Club Terrace go live for sale on Wednesday, June 30 at 10 a.m.

The association reminds horse racing fans that weekly and season ticket plans are already available for purchase on NYRA.com/Saratoga. Group reservations can be made by email at [email protected] or by phone at (844) NYRA-TIX. Additionally, tables at the Festival Tent can be booked online on Ticketmaster.com. Grandstand season passes will be up for grabs at Stewart’s Shops US$50 through July 18.

At Stewart’s Shops, fans can also find NYRA Bets Gift Cards, which are worth US$50 in denominations and can be used to wager on NYRA Bets’ official online platform. There, fans can bet on events at the Saratoga Race Course or hundred of other tracks across the land. The gift cards will be available through September 5. Clubhouse season plans are US$75 and can be only bought at Season Passes | NYRA.

Job Expo

Prior to the 2021 summer meet, the New York Racing Association hosted a job fair at Saratoga Race Course in order to recruit seasonal workers for the summer. The expo stretched over the course of two days with the first one from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 11, and the other one from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 12.

Full Capacity

Thanks to the successful vaccination rate in New York State, at the end of this May, Governor Cuomo revealed that the Saratoga oval will be returning to its full spectator capacity in the summer. Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a face mask as it becomes optional for them. However, non-vaccinated one must continue to wear one and maintain social distancing.
