Attention Quebec Players, Major Lotto Jackpots Vanish Soon

Lottery prizes come to those who are ready for the responsibilities coming with them, but there are occasions in which players let them slip away without claiming them. Loto-Quebec wants to prevent this from happening by seeking five individuals hailing from the province that should bag their prize ranging between CA$250,000 and CA$1,000,000.

Some of the lotto prizes are about to reach their expiry date very soon. Every lottery winner should be aware that there is a deadline for their winning ticket. This means that they are not eligible for the cash prize forever, but instead, have a limited amount of time to claim the great amount of cash. There are only 2 weeks for a player to reach out and claim their jackpot following the draw date.

Jackpots About to Expire Soon

Some of the lottery prizes come as a result of recent regular draws, while others have matured and could very soon reach their expiry date without being claimed. November 30 is the first important date for Quebec players, as this would be their last chance of bagging CA$500,000. An individual had purchased a winning Lotto MAX lottery ticket ahead of the November 30, 2018 draw.

The only information issued up until now was that the ticket had been purchased in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec province. It amounts to half of a Maxmillions Prize. The other half has already been bagged, but this one still has some time to make it to Quebec City. All lottery enthusiasts should check their drawers, between book pages, and more for any misplaced lottery tickets laying around their houses or cars.

This could potentially change their lives. Loto-Quebec reveals that another major prize is also about to expiry very soon – on December 1. It amounts to some CA$250,000 and it was once again drawn a year ago. The Crown corporation revealed that the winning ticket was purchased in the Joliette region at the beginning of December 2018, ahead of the regular Lotto 6/49 draw.

Quebec Millionaires Galore

This cash prize is a share of a Guaranteed prize the remainder of which has been claimed by a group of individuals from the municipality. There are many reasons why a lottery winner could hesitate to bag their prize, ranging from simple misplacement of the winning ticket, to fear of the irreversible changes this windfall would bring to their life.

In addition to those two winning tickets about to expire very soon, there are also three CA$1-million prizes that were drawn in the recent months. Quebec players have yet to claim them and prevent a similar scenario from taking place around this time next year. Lotto millionaires hailing from Laurentians, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, and Gatineau are advised to check their homes for any tickets laying around.

This spring saw a Quebec couple that managed to cash their CA$1-million lottery ticket just in time before it was set to expire. The year-long delay occurred because the ticket was forgotten in a book they opened only to help their grandson with his homework. Nicole Pedneault and Roger Larocque found the piece of paper stuck between the pages of a book about Japan.
