Pollard Banknote Subsidiary Earns Missouri Lottery Deal

Pollard Banknote’s subsidiary Diamond Game announces that it has been granted a brand-new contract from the Missouri Lottery. Via the multi-year agreement, the two will build on their existing partnership and work together on Pull-Tabs dispensers. The provider was selected after a competitive bidding process and the contract kicks in on October 1, 2023.

Diamond Game creates and supplies games, gaming systems, and tickets for various public gaming and charity gaming markets. It has corporate headquarters in Los Angeles, California, and services facilities in Jefferson City, Missouri; Mentor, Ohio; Boise, Idaho; and Hamilton, Ontario. Its 25 years in the industry help it create new retail channels and generate more revenue for good causes.

Extending Collaboration

According to the press, the new agreement between the lottery and the service provider will be an initial three-year contract which kicks off on October 1, 2023. There is an option to extend for three additional one-year spells. The two have been associates since 2013, and since then the lottery brand has been the sole supplier for the lottery’s Pull-Tabs program.

Lester Elder, Director, Missouri Lottery commented that the organization is pleased to ink a new contract with the lottery distributor and continue its support to Missouri retailers. He also noted that the state’s fraternal organization has been a major beneficiary since the Pull-Tabs program made its debut, and that is why the company is eager to support its efforts.

In the meantime, Bill Breslo, President of Diamond Game shared that the supplier is looking forward to extending its long-term relationship with the state lottery and are enthusiastic about working with it in pursuing its goals. Mr. Breslo added that his organization is honoured to support education in Missouri and enhance the positive contributions to veteran and fraternal non-profit retailers

Since its establishment in 1986, the Missouri Lottery has managed to generate over US$7.5 billion for the state and public education. Meanwhile, its yearly lottery contribution account to approximately four percent of the state’s public education funding, which is a task shared by local, state, and federal governments.

Massive Player in the U.S. Market

It should be mentioned that the parent company of Diamond Game, Pollard Banknote is a major lottery ticket and technology provider to several lotteries in the U.S. The Manitoba-based corporation even continues to expand in the country and in October 2022 received a contract extension from the Texas Lottery. Continuing their partnership to at least 2034.

At the start of 2023, the lottery partner was granted another brand-new contract from the North Carolina Education Lottery. Via the agreement, the Canadian firm provides its digital support and related services to the U.S. lottery. The new deal will run until October 31, 2025, and can also be extended in one-year increments for up to three additional years.
