COVID-19 Postpones Two SBC Americas Events

SBC Americas is ready to bring some changes to the upcoming live events it has scheduled for this year. CasinoBeats Malta and Betting on Sports America are both going to be postponed to a later date in relation to Coronavirus contraction concerns. The large congregations of people from all corners of the world could facilitate the spreading of COVID-19, which should be avoided at all costs.

Conferences and events with live audiences have not been considered some of the most popular forms of entertainment as of lately, as people are growing more concerned about their health. Live events with an audience have been prohibited in many countries around Europe and this safety measure would be taken into account when it comes to some of the anticipated gaming events.

CasinoBeats Malta Moved to June

This spring and summer were expected to bring a couple of riveting gaming congregations allowing individuals to interact with likeminded people, while also working on their professional relationship. Professional partnerships are often created on those gaming conferences, as companies have the chance to contact potential partners and create lasting relationships. They also have the opportunity to learn more about the innovations within the industry.

CasinoBeats Malta was supposed to launch on March 24 and continue all the way to March 26 this year, making Malta one of the gaming hotspots of Europe. The area is already known for being the online gaming hub of the continent, making it an appropriate location for many gaming conferences. This month was supposed to see yet another edition of this premium event organized by SBC Americas.

InterContinental Malta is the location that would see this conference, but there would be a change of the launch date. As it was recently confirmed, it would be postponed until June 22, once again lasting a total of three days until June 24. The delay is taking into account the complicated situation on a global level with the outbreak of COVID-19 and all the measures countries have been taking.

Betting on Sports America Moved to December

SBC Events issued an official statement saying that there is no other path of action but to postpone the upcoming event, given that the restrictions on a global level continue fluctuating. Traveling concerns are what triggered action, as many airlines introduce changes to their flights on a daily basis. Moving the conference to June might be the way to go.

Another grand event organized by SBC Americas would also experience a delay. Betting on Sports America is about to take place on December 1 and continue all the way to December 3, 2020. The event was supposed to take place on April 28 at Meadowlands Exposition Center but the uncertain climate has mandated a change of plans.

The new date would not bring a change of location, as the conference would once again be held in Secaucus, New Jersey. All tickets for both events are still valid for the new dates and individuals and companies interested in attending do not need to take any additional steps. It should also be taken into account that Betting on Sports Europe is the conference that remains with its current agenda. It would commence on June 2 at Stamford Bridge, London.
