This Wednesday saw the official change of ownership of the casino facility adjacent to Medicine Hat Lodge in Alberta which has been in the plans for quite some time now. The purchase done by the joint venture of companies is only the first step of the extensive plan for relocation of the casino venue to a new permanent address. It could be recalled that the year 2017 saw initial talks about the change of the address of the gaming facility.

Casino Venue Welcomes New Owners and Brand

Now the casino venue is bracing for many changes and improvements to the status quo. It has been confirmed that the casino venue would be able to relocate in the following six years, one of the considered ways in which the location could be boosted. As it has been confirmed, the previously occurred discrepancies between the management of Medicine Hat Lodge and former owner Kevin Van Der Kooy were ironed out.

It could be recalled that back then a disagreement related to the renting of the venue escalated rather quickly and led to the eventual locking of the casino venue. Elements Entertainment Lounge was the apple of discord between the two parties. The area is overseen by the hotel management but still situated within the casino venue, which eventually brought the tension to boiling point.

With the help of this new arrangement the previous owner’s shares were acquired by the new management and all feuds and legal disputes were left behind. Ever since then, the casino venue has been the subject of quite the dispute, as new management had to be chosen. Now the main objective of the joint venture will be to elevate the player experience and bring a breath of fresh air to the casino venue.

Details Will Be Revealed in a Week

Along the change of ownership, Mr. Stark also made it clear that next Thursday is going to bring more details about the rebranding. This partnership comes as the solution to the raging issues related to the previous owner and it is apparent that the period of uncertainty has come to an end now. Mayfield Investments is the company that owns Medicine Hat Lodge and together with Mr. Stark, the two parties were seeking a mutually beneficial agreement which could see the casino venue open for business on site.

This happened only recently and brought the news about the renewed operation which will take place on site. The new casino venue is projected to launch operation by 2023 at the vicinity of Box Springs Boulevard. The location itself was purposefully chosen to be in the Canalta Hotel’s area. For the past 30 years the gaming venue has been welcoming its patrons with great success, but now it is time for a change, which could be possible only through relocation in the foreseeable future.
