NorthStar Gaming Shines in Gaming Awards

NorthStar Gaming, a leading gambling operator, reveals that it has been recognized in the Canadian Marketing Association Awards and the Clio Sports Awards. The iGaming brand has been assigned a Bronze Award for Innovative Media in Consumer Products & Services at the CMA Awards and a Silver Award for Fan Engagement in Product/Service at the CS Awards.

The company is rather new to the gaming scene in Canada, but less than two years after the launch of its NorthStar Bets in Ontario, the accolades are coming through the door. Its NorthStar Bets platform offers real-time news, stats, analysis and scores directly in the betting environment along with some of the most prominent online casino titles from the industry.

Recognized for its Efforts to Support Canada’s Soccer Team

Its recent recognition is in connection to its unconventional marketing initiative, the 90-Minute Stat Holiday, which urged residents to take a 90-minute statutory break to support the Canadian men’s soccer team in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The campaign successfully captured the moment’s essence and demonstrated the operator’s commitment to its local roots.

The prized campaign was created with help from Publicis Groupe partners Leo Burnett, Starcom and North Strategic. Hosts of the popular soccer podcast Footy Prime, including former Canadian men’s national soccer team stars Craig Forrest and Jimmy Brennan, contributed to rallying Canadians behind NorthStar’s 90-minute stat holiday program last fall.

The Canadian Marketing Association Awards recognized the best in Canadian marketing under the theme “Boundless: The Future of Creativity.” And the iGaming brand’s recognition in the Innovative Media category reflects its ability to navigate through the expanding marketing landscape and create campaigns that capture the imagination of players and viewers.

Meanwhile, the Clio Sports Awards celebrated significant milestones in sports advertising and marketing across the globe. In this edition of the awards, the operator earned a Silver Honour for Fan Engagement in Product/Service highlighting its ability to engage with sports fans and provide compelling marketing experiences in the sports sector.

Latest Improvements to its iGaming Platform

Over the last few months, NorthStar Gaming has made several massive improvements to its NorthStar Bets platform. In October it became the first operator to add an Artificial Intelligence tool to its services. The AI tool is set to provide customers with a daily selection of personalized sports bets and was developed by AI and Machine Language personalization software provider Epoxy.ai.

On a more recent note, the company announced a partnership with BettorView. The internet gaming brand will be allowed to expand its player acquisition through collaboration by engaging with consumers in restaurants and bars across Ontario. It became the first Canadian online gambling company to team up with BettorView.
