Turning Stone Resort Casino Claims 30 Gaming Honors

Once more, Turning Stone Resort Casino has been recognized for its amazing gaming offerings in the industry. Just recently, the Verona property received a record-setting amount of 30 Best of Gaming Awards for 2022, in this year’s awards by Casino Player Magazine. The number of honours received by the establishment was the highest in the Empire State’s landscape.

The resort is owned and operated by the Oneida Indian Nation of New York and it is located at 5218 Patrick Rd, Verona, NY 13478. The gaming amenity offers world-class gaming, dining, hotel stays, recreation and so much more to its many patrons. There are 2,000 slots, 66 table games, a Bingo Hall, and an enormous poker room for the guests to enjoy.

#1 in the State

Casino Player Magazine is the leading authority in the gambling industry, and fans themselves vote for its awards. This year’s edition of the Best of Gaming awards has determined a record-breaking amount of 30 honours in the name of the Oneida Nation casino. Out of those 30 rewards, the casino grabbed an impressive amount of 17 first-place categories.

Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter noted that it has been a successful year across the company’s establishments and every member of their team had a major role in it. He said that a shared commitment to excellence allows the owner to continue to build on its amazing offerings and some prestigious awards on the way.

The news about being selected as the #1 Gaming property in the state arrive right after the Oneida Nation announced its new multi-million-dollar investment plan into its casino. According to the Nation, this will be the most significant investment it has made into the property over the last 20 years, and it includes almost doubling convention and meeting space and more.

According to the press release from the tribe, the multi-year project includes a brand-new hotel tower, which when completed will come with over 250 rooms for guests. The expansion would also provide more dining amenities, more outdoor spaces and other facilities. And the official groundbreaking ceremony should start off sometime in 2023, shared the company.

The 2021 Awards

Last year’s edition of the Best of Gaming Awards has also been quite beneficial for Turning Stone Resort Casino. Last year, the casino claimed a total of 24 honours at the annual awards, and thus was again crowned the number one gaming amenity in the state. Out of the total 24 awards, 14 of them were first-place ones, as voted by its many patrons.

The casino claimed the Best Overall Gaming Resort in New York, along with a few other categories such as Best Rooms, Best High Limit Room, Best Non-Smoking Casino/Area, Best Craps, Best Overall Sportsbook, Best Prop Bets, Best Hotel Lobby, Best Dealers, Best Roulette, and Best Keno. Thus, highlighting the quality of products and services that it offers to the state’s patrons and visitors.
