For the sixth year running, Turning Stone Resort Casino has been selected as the number 1 gaming hotspot in New York State. The property has been acknowledged for its premium gaming services at the 2021 Gaming Awards by Casino Player Magazine, as the casino took home the stunning amount of 24 honors.
The winners of the annual awards are determined by casino patrons themselves based on a number of factors. Starting with player service, luxury accommodations, outstanding activities, and several other amenities. For the sixth time in a row, the casino has received the number 1 gaming property in the state, along with winning the most first-place category awards and most total Best Gaming honors.
Most Awards Claimed
During this year’s edition of the awards, Turning Stone Resort Casino has grabbed over 24 honors, including the impressive 14 first-place trophies. The categories are Best Overall Gaming Resort, Best Hotel, Best Suites, Best Pool, Best Spa, Best Golf Course, Favorite Casino Resort for a Vacation, Best Casino, Best Table Games, Best Video Poker, Best Blackjack, Best Bingo, Best Sportsbook Promotions, and Friendliest Sportsbook.
The casino claimed the Best Overall Gaming Resort in New York, along with a few other categories such as Best Rooms, Best High Limit Room, Best Non-Smoking Casino/Area, Best Craps, Best Overall Sportsbook, Best Prop Bets, Best Hotel Lobby, Best Dealers, Best Roulette, and Best Keno. Thus, highlighting the quality of products and services that it offers to the state’s patrons and visitors.
Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter said that the policy of the casino is to always improve its offerings. He said that instead of staying stagnant or allowing last year’s challenges to negatively impact it, the property continued to improve via several investments. Mr. Halbritter said that the awards are a reflection and acknowledgment of the company’s commitment.
Earlier the casino has been recognized by the Forbes Travel Guide with four Forbes Four-Star Awards. Additionally, the casino was selected as the Best Golf Resorts in the Americas with Golf Digest’s Editors Choice Awards. Also, the complex has earned accolades from AAA with three Diamond Awards. It is also worth mentioning that Gold Advisor selected the casino’s all three 18-hole courses as the Top 3 in the state.
Renovations Plan
During the summer, Turning Stone Resort Casino announced some major upgrades to its facilities as a way to prepare for the easing of restrictions and celebrate its 28th birthday. The makeover includes renovations of The Showroom, as well as changes to its wedding and conference hall, and launching a brand-new bar called The Lodge and a new buffet.
Host of Many Tournaments
Besides offering an exceptional set of gaming and luxury amenities the casino is also a hotspot for many gambling tournaments and competitions, that attract many visitors and gamblers. For example, at the beginning of 2020, the casino hosted its Winter Poker Meltdown Festival, with a total prize pool of US$50,000.
