Wiener Races Bring Cuteness Overload to Hastings Racecourse this July

Canadians are fond of races of all kinds and the most popular type includes Thoroughbred horses. There are other types that also enjoy popularity, one of them being the Dachshund live races that guarantee live entertainment and betting possibilities. Hastings Racecourse and Casino announced that this July is going to bring the beloved Wiener Races with two live dates coming in the foreseeable future.

Hastings Racecourse and Casino is renowned for its live schedule that offers quite the gaming potential, as well as beloved events with years of history to their names. The Vancouver-based location is willing to bring diversity and be a breath of fresh air to a field that is on a constant pursuit of something new. This could happen with unusual live races putting to the test the racing skills of dogs to the likes of corgi dogs, wieners, and bulldogs.

Wiener Races Start July 13

This July would praise wiener dogs, as the breed is commonly referred to. July 13 and July 14 are scheduled to welcome live races of the adorable dogs. That upcoming weekend is projected to bring quite the crowd to the racetrack, as there are only two dachshund racing dates in the 2019 live racing calendar.

The special events are going to be sprinkled throughout the weekend with live horse racing starting at 1:50 p.m. and the renowned wiener dogs races taking place in between them. People of all ages could attend them, as they are known for being a more family-friendly alternative to traditional horse races that feature live betting on everything happening on the turf. This is among the main selling points of live horse racing.

During the afternoon action, all attendants will have the opportunity to enjoy the live races that would bring CA$500 for the fastest wiener dog. The winner is also about to bag the special Bosley’s Doggy Prize Pack further motivating all participants that have yet to register for participation. There is still enough time for everyone interested to register and reserve their spot for the highly-anticipated weekend.

Last Two of the Special Events

June was another fluffy month for the Vancouver racecourse, as it saw two days of Corgi Races action that transformed it. June 22 and June 23 welcomed the special events that featured similar participation conditions. Ever entrant paid nothing to register and had the chance to make it all the way to the top of the rank list.

The first place of this event was eligible for a cash prize of CA$500 and the well-known Bosleys’ Doggy Prize Pack. This was the second year for the Corgi Races bringing along an even larger crowd of individuals of all ages. The Corgi breed is also praised for its special statute of the breed of choice for her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

As a result of that, its popularity on the Internet has exponentially grown in the past few years. The month of May also brought English, French & British bulldogs on site for their two days of racing. May 25 and May 26 saw the special event, bringing CA$500 and the special pack of prizes by Bosley’s.
