Western Canada Lottery Corporation Ready for mkodo-Powered Mobile App

Canadian lottery corporations are on a constant pursuit of new offerings they could introduce to their customers in order to diversify their overall experience. Western Canada Lottery Corporation recently announced its collaboration with product provider mkodo striving to make the Crown corporation even more competitive. The two entities would soon introduce WCLC’s brand new mobile app built both for iOS and Android.

It is no secret to anyone that lottery corporations strive to reach further and allow players easier access to their offerings. One of the many ways in which this is possible is with the creation of a native application that everyone could enjoy at all times. Many lottery corporations already boast their mobile apps offering players the chance to instantly check their tickets and see whether or not they have a winner in their hands.

Mobile App Comes 2020

Western Canada Lottery Corporation would soon introduce its very own app. The collaboration with leading digital product provider mkodo is projected to guarantee success and an intuitive mobile app welcoming a crowd. The Crown corporation wanted to see a new level of professionalism when it comes to its digital presence, which would be able to solidify its presence on the local gaming scene.

Some of the wide functionalities of this new WCLC mobile app would feature the ticket scanning option beloved by millions of Canadians. This application is going to allow lottery players to check their tickets in seconds and make sure that their eyes are not deceiving them. It often happens that a player is comparing the drawn numbers and they could mistake one number for another, leading to unwanted mistakes.

Moreover, the ticket scanner would make it a quicker process, optimizing the communication between the winner and the Crown corporation. The WCLC app would allow players to contact the corporation and claim their prize in a timely manner. All players have a total of 52 weeks to claim their prize before it reaches its expiry date.

New Features Facilitate Players

The future application would also give players useful information such as the closest retail location that could put them on the path to success. Weekly draws are also going to be part of the application, as it would feature reminders on the days when a weekly draw is scheduled to take place. Lottery enthusiasts hailing from Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, in addition to Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut are going to enjoy the new app in 2020.

This is not the first Canadian collaboration including mkodo’s strong presence. It could be recalled that earlier this summer, British Columbia Lottery Corporation announced work on the improvement of its official lottery app. The new functionalities made interaction possibilities endless for players.

The revamped app allowed lottery players to deposit funds, withdraw funds giving them the online freedom they have always been looking for. In addition to that, the updated app is going to allow them to purchase lottery tickets for national and regional games. The digital leader created BCLC’s original mobile app, so it made sense that it received the task to bring essential new features to it.
