Seneca Gaming Corp. Resumes Live Performances

On Monday Seneca Gaming Corporation revealed that the long-awaited return of live entertainment events is not far away. The company is set to welcome back its first live entertainer in a year and a half as John Fogerty will perform in the Seneca Event center on August 21. Tickets will be available for purchase starting from this Friday.

Live performances at the casino properties had been suspended due to health and safety concerns surrounding the occurrence of the unprecedented situation in March 2020 and its spread. Due to the suspension, many scheduled concerts were postponed to a later date, such as the Aaron Lewis which was delayed to October this year.

Live Shows to Come Back

Christian Printup, Senior Executive Director of Entertainment & Special Events stated that the property is excited to bring live performances and their energy back to the casino. He continued by saying that the team at the venue is now ready to rock, laugh, and hear patrons cheers across the premises. The last live show at the property was ABBA’s The Concert on February 8.

Mr. Fogerty is a Grammy award winner who has been included in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He is the only musician to be included in the Baseball Hall of Fame for his hit song “Centerfield”. Fans will also be able to hear and enjoy his other hit songs such as “Proud Mary,” “Susie Q,” “Fortunate Son,” “Born on the Bayou,” “Bad Moon Rising” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” and many more.

Tickets for the award-winning musician’s show will go live for sale this Friday, July 16, and prices will start from US$75. Also from Friday, patrons can purchase tickets for Ron White who will perform at the venue on August 28 at the Seneca Niagara Events Center in Niagara Falls. The comedy show is for adults only and tickets will start from US$35.

Then on October 28, the Village People will perform at Seneca Niagara with tickets starting from US$65. Online Improvements

Previously Seneca Gaming Corporation announced its new and updated online gaming platform iPlaySeneca. The website has been revamped to ensure a better overall experience for both newly signed and veteran players who can enjoy the company’s gaming products online. New users will receive 10,000 credits as a welcome bonus and now users can collect daily rewards with the new daily log-in feature.

Independence Day

Similarly, to previous years, Seneca Gaming Corporation organized fireworks shows at its properties to celebrate the Fourth of July. Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino and Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino both provided light show spectacles on July 2 and July 4 respectively, both at exactly 9:40 p.m. Unfortunately, neither of the venues provided public viewing areas due to the health and safety concerns surrounding the virus.
