Seneca Nation Hosts Annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony

As the winter holidays draw near in New York State, Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is once again prepared to start the festivities. The Niagara Falls property recently provided details on its annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony, which will be taking place at the start of December. There will be plenty of stars at the scene with names like Jim Kelly, Cami Clune, and more.

The resort informs that the special ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, December 2021, and it will start at 5 p.m. It will be on the casino side of the premium resort. The public is invited to join the ceremony for a hot cup of cocoa and some cookies, however, the company reminds everyone who wants to attend to wear a face mask.

Star-Packed Ceremony

The ceremony is set to start at 5 p.m. with the actual tree-lighting taking place at around 6 p.m. Besides, Santa Claus himself, the event will feature plenty of celebrities such as Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, Sabretooth, Billy Buffalo, and Buffalo Bandits’ mascot Rex. Guests will be able to greet the stars, while the resort’s and Seneca Gaming’s official light up the three in the Christmas spirit.

In addition to that, the casino resort has also invited the local singer Cami Clune, who was a finalist on “The Voice”. Her performance will be after the illumination of the enormous tree. Cami Clune & Vitamin D3 are set to entertain for a special two-night performance of the “Holiday & Hits” show inside The Bear’s Den Showroom at Seneca Niagara Casino & Resort on Dec. 2-3.

President and CEO of Seneca Gaming Corporation, Kevin Nephew, said that the holidays are all about ageless traditions and the spirit of togetherness. He also shared that the company is once again excited to continue the popular tradition for the illumination of the Christmas tree, and he hopes that it would bring light to the holiday season and make the rest of the year for everyone truly magical.

The popular casino has some more exciting news in store for its music fans, as Jake Owen is set to perform at the property’s Seneca Niagara Events Center on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 8 p.m. The company informs that tickets for the distinguished country singer’s concert will be available for purchase from this Friday, November 26, and start at US$45.
