Scientific Games Debuts With iLottery Program In Western Canada

Latest announcement coming from Scientific Games is that the prominent iGaming leader will be expanding its portfolio of accessed regions. The content provider had reached an agreement with Western Canadian Lottery Corporation for the launch of its iLottery gaming program in the Western provinces of the country. The program’s official name is Subscription Spot and will be available through the lottery’s online platform.

The gaming supplier is famous for its broad variety of digital instant and interactive games, series of successful mobile apps, and many loyalty programs in the USA. And thanks to the deal it will be able to offer its gaming portfolio in Western Canadian provinces. This will be achieved with the help of WCLC which is a lottery corporation in charge of all lottery offerings for Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest, and Nunavut territories.

Reaching for New Terrains

Vice President of the lottery corporation Brad Wiebe claimed that the lottery program is a massive statement for the corporation and its modernization plan. He added that the subscription system of the content supplier will be strategic for the Crown corporation’s development as this is a brand-new online offering for the before-mentioned provinces that will be able to enjoy the fresh lottery offerings online.

The renowned gaming leader provides its iLottery omni-channel products, content, digital programs, and platforms to more than 30 lottery corporations around the globe. And the launch in Western Canada will be through the provider’s player account management (PAM) platform and purchase-enabled online services. Lottery fans will have access to fan-favorite games such as Lotto Max, Lotto 6/49, Daily Grand, Western Max, Western 6/49, and many more via the Subscription Spot.

Extension of Services

The start of this year saw the extension of collaborations between Scientific Games and Loto-Québec. In January the gaming operators announced that their agreement has been officially extended to January 31, 2022.
