Pragmatic Play is set to expand its area of operations to Ontario, Canada. This week, the leading iGaming name inked a partnership agreement with provincially-based brand NorthStar Gaming. The latter operates in the recently-regulated internet gaming market, and it will now gain access to the provider’s fan-favourite and award-winning iCasino titles.
The iGaming developer and provider is an industry leader in delivering exciting and innovative online gaming titles to the sector and soon Ontario bettors will be able to see for themselves in a regulated fashion. The company offers a strong portfolio of Live Casino, Virtual Sports, Bingo games, Slots, and more. All of these are made available via one single API.
Expansion into Canada
Through the partnership agreement, the prominent gaming provider will be allowed to debut its content on NorthStar Gaming’s platform. The latter has been licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to operate in the legally-run iGaming market for private operators. The sector made its debut on April 4, 2022, and has attracted major interest from industry stakeholders.
NorthStar Gaming owns and operates NorthStar Bets which is an Ontario casino and sportsbook gaming platform that provides players with a uniquely local, premier user experience. The sportsbook offers real-time news, stats, analysis and scores directly in the betting environment along with the most popular online casino games. The brand went online in the province in May 2022.
Irina Cornides, COO of the provider stated that the company is pleased to team up with the Ontario-based brand and debut its premium online casino titles on its platform. She said that the operator has a strong vision of what they can achieve in the market and that the supplier is now happy to enhance their portfolio with some of the industry’s most prominent slot titles for players to enjoy.

He also shared his excitement over the deal and is now looking forward to offering an engaging and content-driven gaming experience to their many bettors.
500 Casino Deal
The agreement with NorthStar Gaming comes on the back of numerous other lucrative partnerships to expand in regulated markets. In September the gaming provider announced its collaboration with 500 Casino, which allowed it to launch its market-leading Slot and Live Casino verticals with the operator. Now its players can enjoy the provider’s greatest hits such as Gates of Olympus™, Greedy Wolf™, Gorilla Mayhem™, and Magic Money Maze™.
By integrating its Live Casino vertical, the iGaming supplier was able to debut its Blackjack and Roulette, as well as the recently produced Boom City and the slot-themed Bonanza CandyLand™ with the brand. The agreement with 500 Casino, comes on the back of other important deals for the provider with Hollywoodbets, Rushbet, and Betway.
