Hanover celebrates a special week, as Gateway Casinos and Entertainment relaunched its rebranded casino venue following a period of renovation. The freshened up Playtime Casino Hanover is projected to welcome many new casino patrons and live up to the expectations of those who are already well-acquainted with the venue. A crowd of more than 100 people was in front of the casino venue in time for the official ceremony.
The project has been closely followed by locals and people interested to learn more about the renovated gaming venue. The overall prize of the project amounts to CA$18 million and the casino developer has been eager to showcase everything there is for grabs at Playtime Casino Hanover. This Thursday was the special day when the local officials cut the ribbon at a grand opening ceremony.
Brand New Casino Venue Welcomes Patrons
About 100 individuals were present on site of the casino venue to hear speeches from the casino venue General Manager Derek Tierney, Gateway CAO Brad Bardua, and Hanover Mayor Sue Patterson. They dedicated the time to the various projections for the community coming as a result of the future casino operation. Projections are that it would draw the attention of many locals and casino patrons from neighboring communities.
The project price was enough for the renovation project of the building that had once served a different purpose. Over the past seven years, it had been empty which called for a substantial amount of work. Now that it is fully operational and already welcoming its guests, the casino facility would benefit the community and its neighboring towns by boosting the job market.
Individuals from the region have already been pinpointed for future operation as part of the staff. As many as 100 new job positions were created as a result of the launch and people could rely on a steady income thanks to Gateway Casinos. Mayor Patterson wants to see an improvement in the employment market and this new venue seems like the perfect solution.
Soft Opening Happened Mid-March
The casino venue comes with as many as 300 slot machines sprinkled across the gaming floor, as well as some 8 table games for those who wish to try something new every once in a while.
