PlayFallsview Now Available to Ontario Bettors

Betting leader, Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, has a reason to celebrate as this week, the company has debuted its online brand for its Fallsview Casino Resort in Ontario. Approved earlier by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to join the province’s regulated iGaming market, the company’s PlayFallsview platform has now gone live in the jurisdiction and it is at bettors’ disposal.

The province’s private market for online gambling and sports betting launched on April 4, 2022, and now MGE has joined more than 20 other operators and 30 websites in the jurisdiction. The new sector is overseen by AGCO and its subsidiary iGO, and its purpose was to deal with grey-market operators while also keeping some of the proceeds for the local economy.

Available to Play Online

PlayFallsview is now available to play in Ontario for eligible bettors, and it offers Fallsview Casino Resort’s official online sportsbook and real money digital casino. The platform was created in a collaboration with industry-leading gaming partners such as Kambi Group, Pala Interactive and Intelitics, while it was launched by the company’s division Mohegan Digital. It is now available at play.playfallsview.com/ or in app stores.

Todd Stender, Director of Product for the gambling leader, shared that the company is excited to be launching its online brand in the province with the help of the most trusted technology providers in the sector. The platform has been powered by Pala Interactive and Kambi Group’s prominent sports betting platforms, while Evolution has provided some top-notch live dealer games.

Richard Taylor, President, of Niagara Casinos, commented that the digitalization and launch of the market is the next step forward for gaming in Ontario. He shared that the company is proud to be partnering with Mohegan Digital to bring the popular land-based casino brand online. Currently, Fallsview Casino Resort is the largest gaming resort in Canada, and it has a huge player base.

Currently, MGE owns, oversees, and runs a series of gaming resorts in the United States, Canada, and Northern Asia. And as mentioned in Niagara Falls, Ontario, the company operates Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara. The two properties are of major financial help to the region, as every year they welcome millions of casino guests and are a valuable tourist destination.

And speaking of Fallsview Casino Resort, just last week, the company and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation announced the name of the property’s brand-new entertainment centre. From now on, the multi-million venue will be known as OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino, and the two companies promised that the amenity will be up and running by the end of this year.

Releasing Fiscal Numbers for Q3

In August, MGE also issued its Q3 financial report from its gaming operations. For the three months that ended on June 30, 2022, the company has aggregated net proceeds of US$236.5 million, which is a 7.5% increase over the same period of time but from last year. This was the first full quarter for the company without having to comply with health and safety restrictions in Ontario.
