Paysafe Group Recognized For Its Contributions

Paysafe was recently awarded a great honor as the payment service platform has received the “Payments Provider” prize at this year’s edition of the eGaming Review North America Awards. The ceremony was held entirely online on May 26, 2021, and the platform has been recognized for its contribution to the gaming field and its recent U.S.A and Canadian expansion.

The annual awards, which aim towards honoring a number of iGaming categories for the most prominent and innovative service providers have added a few new categories to its catalog. The “Payment Provider” is one of the newest ones and it celebrates and focuses on the importance of such providers to the online gaming scene and operators.

Successful Growth

The payment provider has had a rather successful last 12 months, as the company was able to further established itself in the North American markets. The payment platform provides its partners with an exceptional set of traditional and alternative payment methods via single streamline integration. Payment processing is conducted by the company’s digital solutions such as Skrill, eCash, and Paysafecash.

During the course of last year, the payment provider has made huge strides towards fraud prevention as the company made some innovations in its alternative payment solutions and advanced identification technologies. Thanks to the service provider’s latest deals in U.S. and Canada, the corporation is now leading the charts as the most desirable and reliable online payments provider around.

In North America, the company has already established itself in numerous jurisdictions, such as Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Virginia in the USA. The platform has also made some good relations in Canada, as it has partnered with Alberta’s iLottery industry, and the company is responsible for payment processing for most Canadian province’s regulated online lottery offerings.

Speaking on behalf of the service provider Philip McHugh, CEO stated that the company is very proud to be renowned as the most dominant payment platform in the North American iLottery business. Mr. McHugh added that it is a great honor for the company to be declared as the winner of the first-ever ‘Payments Provider’ category, as it celebrates the company’s dedication to always improving and providing an even better customer experience.

NeoPollard Interactive Deal

Speaking of the provider’s fruitful partnerships the company has teamed up with NeoPollard Interactive for the official regulation of iLottery offerings in the province of Alberta. The payment provider will help the lottery provider in conducting the online payments and transactions on the province’s officially regulated platform called PlayAlberta.ca. The online gaming and lottery platform was launched by Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis last year.

Acquisition

Another important step for Paysafe Group’s development was the acquisition of Merchants’ Choice Payment Solutions and its parent company Delta Card Services. The company announced the US$470 million deal in July 2017, at that time the card payment services cooperated with over 60,000 operators in the USA, and it was responsible for over US$14 billion in transactions every year.
