Parq Vancouver Partners with ‘Alegría’ This Spring

The iconic show ‘Alegría’ is bound to make its return this spring at the Concord Pacific Place in downtown Vancouver. And this time the show will be partnering up with the play-and-stay location Parq Vancouver, which has been selected as the partner of the show. In order to mark the special occasion, the gaming venue will introduce special offerings for the fans of the production.

Parq Vancouver is gaming and entertainment in downtown Vancouver, where besides exceptional gaming amenities patrons can also enjoy premium dining amenities at its numerous restaurants before heading to Concord Pacific Place or after the performance. The property is also the home of two hotels – The JW Marriott and the Douglas Autograph Collection, as well as The Spa by JW.

Save the Date

Now, as ‘Alegría’ is making its return from March 25, 2022, through May 1, 2022, Parq Vancouver will introduce a couple of special offerings at its premises to celebrate the partnership to become a preferred partner of the show. For example, fans of Cirque du Soleil could become part of the show by sitting on a throne representing Alegría.

The throne is now in the main lobby of the casino property and it will be there for selfies until March 29, 2022. In addition to that, there will also be re-show dinner menus at several restaurants and lounges, such as the Honey Salt, The Victor, BC Kitchen, and D/6 Bar & Lounge. The property will also provide exclusive ticket offers to the show to members of the property’s e-newsletter list.

The Vancouver gaming resort informs that it will be also organizing a social-media contest on Instagram and Facebook, which will award exclusive invite-only tickets to the sneak-peak dress rehearsal for the show on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Alegría is a show from the broad variety of Cirque du Soleil repertoire, and this version is a newly reimagined one. It combines an electric mix of sonic palettes, exceptional sets, and costume design, as well as stunning feats of circus stunts as it narrates the tale of youth in revolt against the aristocratic ideas of the old world.

Returning to Normal

Similar to all other casino properties in B.C., Parq Vancouver has also experienced a tough spell after the occurrence of the unprecedented situation. The Vancouver property remained closed down for almost 15 months, before reopening again on July 1, 2021. When it resumed work, it returned with new health and safety rules, and new games, slots, and VIP gaming salons.

4th Anniversary

On September 29, 2021, Parq Vancouver celebrated 4 years of premium operations in the region. And in order to share its excitement with locals, it launched happy hour drinks specials at its Centre Bar along with a discount on a set of fan-favorite items at the BC Kitchen venue. At the BC Kitchen, guests had the opportunity to enjoy some of their favorite meals for just CA$5.
