OLG’s New Platform PROLINE+ is Now Live

Last Friday, August 27, 2021, was one of huge importance to the sports and gaming industry of Canada as betting on individual sporting events is now officially legal. On the same day, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming launched its new digital sportsbook named PROLINE+, making it the first online platform to offer the new sports betting option in the country.

PROLINE+ is available on all devices, and it provides its players with an improved betting experience, with competitive odds that update with the course of the games. The web portal also brings thousand of new wagering possibilities at all times from all big North American sports and leagues. This includes betting soccer, tennis, golf, boxing, and MMA.

First Time in Ontario

On August 27, 2021, the day single-sports betting was legalized, the OLG presented its new PROLINE+ platform. President and CEO of the Crown agency, Duncan Hannay, said that the corporation is excited to debut its new digital sportsbook and it is one of the first entities to offer this option to the province. This new platform will provide even greater betting variety with more events and more wagering possibilities.

Gamblers and sports fans from all over Ontario can now place pre-match or live bets during a game from any sort of device that they have access to. There is now a built-in live event tracker, which allows individuals to monitor ongoing games, and also there is a Cash Out feature that provides a partial payout on a bet before the full time of the game. New players can register at proline.ca or OLG.ca.

The new web portal of OLG also promotes responsible gambling and it provides player tools and educational pieces from its internationally acclaimed PlaySmart. This player safety program has been awarded the highest level of certification from the World Lottery Association. In order to play on the new platform, players must be of 19 years of age, reside in Ontario, and have an active OLG.ca account.

PROLINE+ was created and released with the help of FDJ Gaming Solutions and Sporting Solutions, which are partners of the Crown and are both are owned by FDJ Group of France. They were chosen as developers through a competitive selection process to improve sports betting in the province. With this deal, there will also be a new sports betting product that will be launched in over 10,000 retail locations across Ontario.

Revamp of OLG App

A while ago, the Crown agency revealed that it has produced a new and improved version of its fan-favorite OLG App. This was achieved in collaboration with Bede Gaming. Now players of the platform have access to even greater betting options, and some new features. The useful ticket scanner now comes with additional information on jackpots and prizes.

Providing New Content

In addition to that, in order to deliver new content to its players, the Crown corporation has previously signed a deal with the gaming brand AGS. The company is a prominent casino content supplier and is a provider of Class II and Class III slot games. Ontario players are already introduced to some of the company’s biggest hits such as Bonanza Blast®, Capital Gains®, Fu Nan Fu Nu®, Rakin Bacon! ®, and Vegas Stacks®.
