Kambi to Provide Retail Sportsbook Platform to MGE in Ontario

Just this week, leading sports betting company Kambi Group announced a new partnership agreement with Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment. The new agreement builds on their recent one, and it will allow Kambi to offer its first-at-class on-property sports betting platform for MGE’s Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Kambi Group is a leading supplier of premium sports wagering services to B2C gaming operators. It offers a broad range of products from the front-end user interface through odds compiling, customer intelligence and risk management which were developed on an in-house developed software platform. Currently, the company has more than 40 customers in the industry.

Joining Efforts Once More

Through this latest partnership, MGE’s premium Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara properties will integrate Kambi’s full suite of high-performance sports wagering technology and services. Thus, providing a riveting destination for sports fans and bettors in Canada’s most populous province. However, the implementation of the technology is subject to required approvals from the local regulators.

According to the agreement, over 36 kiosks will be introduced across the gaming operator’s two Niagara Falls properties. Meanwhile, there are also plans for Casino Niagara to transform its famous sports bar into a retail sportsbook. This collaboration further builds on the two companies’ relationship as previously they partnered up to launch Mohegan Digital’s PlayFallsview online sportsbook in the province.

Kristian Nylén, Kambi Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder said that on the back of the recent partnership between the two sides, the company is excited to provide its high-quality sports betting products to the two casinos in Ontario. In his words, this deal further strengthens the properties’ offerings to leverage their already successful brand in the province.

President of Niagara Casinos, Richard Taylor, stated that the operator is eager to partner again with the sports betting provider as they look to launch retail sportsbooks at the two casinos. He added that the partners will now change the gaming scene, as they team up with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and the province to make the project a reality.

Bringing the ‘90s Nostalgia

Just recently, Fallsview Casino Resort announced a new ’90s-themed tour at its brand-new event centre OLG Stage at Fallsview with several hit artists from the decade set to perform. The special event is named “I Love the 90s Tour”, and it will feature everyone’s favourite Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, Young MC and C+C Music Factory featuring Freedom Williams.

The nostalgia-evoking spectacle is set for November 3, 2022, at 8 p.m. Tickets for the show will be on sale from Friday, September 30, 2022, and they start at CA$45 apiece. And as with any other show at the casino, guests who intend on visiting can purchase them online on ticketmaster.ca. The casino invites everyone to wear their bomber jackets and fanny packs and party like it is 1999 again.
