Caesars Ent. Launches Sports Betting Venue at Highmark Stadium

This week, gambling giants Caesars Entertainment will another move to expand in New York State, as the company will launch a sportsbook-like betting venue. The new establishment will be a fruit of the leader’s partnership Buffalo Bills and it is at the team’s Highmark Stadium. It is set to open on September 19, 2022, when the Buffalo Bills face the Tennessee Titans.

However, it should be mentioned that due to state laws, the Empire State limits retail sports wagering to four tribal casinos. Therefore, the new venue from Caesars Sportsbook will only feature online sports betting on the company’s Caesars Sportsbook app, which has been licensed by the state to operate as an online operator in the jurisdiction.

Coming on September 19

Caesars Entertainment informed New York sports bettors, that the new sports wagering lounge will officially launch on September 19, 2022, and it will be at Buffalo Bills’ Highmark Stadium. As already mentioned, the new establishment at the stadium will have only online sports betting via the company’s app but still come with the physical look and feel of a retail sportsbook.

Fans who want to stop by the new lounge after it starts operations must know that the new sportsbook-style venue will be in the northwest corner tower of the Highmark Stadiums’ Business Class Club. It should be noted, that the non-physical aspect of the lounge can change in the upcoming year, as NY will review a sports betting kiosk bill soon.

In addition to that, on Monday, the gambling giants also introduced its Caesars Sportsbook & Casino Truck, which will soon embark on a nationwide journey and thus entertain bettors in legal sports wagering states. The 18-wheeler truck features a production studio and podcast studio expected to provide content from the company’s partners Omaha Productions, ESPN and CBS Sports.

Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital said that offering customers a memorable experience and treating them like royalty is a core policy for the company. He added that the new truck is another exciting initiative for the sportsbook, which will focus on a more localized approach in the second year. He is now looking forward to engaging fans on the road and thanked partners for the cooperation.

Earlier this year, Caesars Entertainments also announced another lucrative agreement in the Empire State but this time with the New York Mets. The company became an official sports betting partner to the baseball team, and it also revealed its plans to open a brand-new sportsbook lounge at Citi Field. The new venue should open with the start of the MLB season and offer a unique experience for sports fans.

New Contract from the OLG

In August, the betting leader also received a boost for its legal operations in Ontario. The company operates the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s Caesars Windsor Casino and it has been awarded a contract extension. The enhanced agreement would allow the company to operate the premium gaming amenity to at least August 2025
