Bragg Gaming Group Greets Its Next CEO

Most currently, the global leader for providing iGaming content and technology, Bragg Gaming Group, announced its new Chief Executive Officer. Starting from July 1, 2022, the company’s CEO position will be assumed by Yaniv Sherman, who has more than 20 years of experience in gambling, software, and iGaming sectors. His appointment will conclude the Board of Directors’ review of strategic alternatives.

Mr. Sherman arrives at the gaming provider after 15 years as a senior executive at 888 Holdings. From 2018 to 2021 he served there as Senior Vice President and Head of U.S., where he used his expertise to further expand the company’s operations in the U.S., as it signed agreements with Caesars Entertainment and the Delaware Lottery.

The New Addition

Chairman of the Board of Directors for Bragg Gaming Group, Paul Godfrey welcomed Mr. Sherman as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Godfrey said that the board is pleased to have him at the company and that his extensive industry experience and great track record make him perfect to head the provider on the execution of its successful growth strategies.

The Chairman said that Mr. Sherman’s strong record and expertise in the global iGaming industry will provide exceptional value to the company, which leverages the recent purchase of Spin Games. It will also boost the firm’s growing internal game development capabilities, partnerships with third-party game studios, and iGaming platform opportunities to establish and rapidly expand its footprint across the rapidly growing U.S. markets.

Mr. Sherman himself has also shared some words on his new responsibility. He commented that he is honored and eager to join the company’s strong leadership team and help it drive its brand exposure further. He claimed that the provider’s business momentum is a reflection of the consistent execution of its strategic growth initiative, including its debut into new European iGaming territories.

He continues by saying that in addition to the recent finalization for the purchase of Spin Games and Wild Streak Gaming, is an attractive opportunity for growth and continued expansion of the company’s services in North America. He is now looking forward to working with the supplier’s board, management, and partners in search of new and exciting possibilities for the corporation.

On top of his tenure at 888 Holdings plc, Mr. Sherman has also overseen Dragonfish, which is a bingo-focused B2B provision of 888. From 2017 to 2020 he was employed as Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial Development. At the position, he was responsible for corporate development, gaming content and ePayments partnerships, market research, competitive intelligence, and B2B.

Over the recent months, the Ontario-based Bragg Gaming Group has finally realized its goal of making a home turf debut. In March, the company was awarded an iGaming license for Ontario’s online regulated market for gaming and sports betting, which is overseen by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Now, the global supplier can offer its world-class iGaming content to other locally licensed operators.
