ALC Launches New CA$20 Promotion

The new promotion by the Atlantic Lottery Corporation will award newly registered players with CA$20. All they have to do to claim the bonus is to create an account on ALC.ca, then spend CA$10 on Lotto Max and CA$10 on Instant Wins and they will be eligible for the bonus. This new offer starts today on July 19, 2021, and will stretch towards August 15.

The Atlantic Lottery Corporation is a state-run establishment that is accountable for regulating and conducting responsible lottery and gaming offerings for New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. The Crown’s official gaming platform is ALC.ca and the corporation returns all of its profits for support of local community groups and organizations.

Terms and Conditions

The Crown corporation revealed that the new welcome bonus offer of CA$20 is available to residents of New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador only. In order for individuals to be eligible for the promotion, they need to register for an account during the promotion period of 00:00:01 on July 19, 2021, and 23:59:59 on August 15, 2021.

In order for the newly created account on ALC.ca to be valid, it must be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the platform. During the said promotion period players must then spend at least CA$10 on a Lotto Max purchase on the platform. Then spend again at least CA$10 on Instant Win games on the website. Both sums can be spent on more than one purchase.

If all the conditions are met, then the player will receive the CA$20 welcome bonus directly in his or her ALC.ca account. The Crown reminds that this is an online promotion only for players that have not registered an account on the platform prior to the beginning of the promotion on July 19. Players must also be above the minimum legal age of 18 years old.

The Crown agency also informs that the CA$20 bonus can be used only as gaming credits for playing or purchasing on the online platform. It cannot be exchanged for cash or cash equivalents. The welcome bonus is also non-transferable, and it is obtainable during the promotion period only. Also, there is a limit to just one welcome bonus for each account.

Previous Activities

Previous marketing promotion campaign from the Crown corporation was its CA$20 voucher for newly signed customers. The corporation distributed over 400,000 free vouchers to Nova Scotia households. However, the promotion did not receive a great response as many were concerned that the Crown corporation was attracting new crows who otherwise would not be gambling if it was not for the CA$20 welcome bonus.

In order to improve its online offerings, the Crown agency has also acquired the services of the Australia-based Lightning Box.
